AIS

New communication technologies have enabled MSM to create compact electronic systems that can be easily integrated in any beaconing installation, including: X+S band, frequency-agile Racons of new generation, and transmitter-receiver AIS AtoN units strictly accomplishing international standards. 

All these systems are completed with a specific software under Web environment able to combine AIS and Remote Monitoring features, which provides the user with continual information availability from any Internet access point.

Universal Compact AIS Transponder
  • This transponder sends status signals and alarms signals coming from any kind of beacon, either rotating or flashing one, without need to install any additional sensors.
  • Broadcasting of aids-to-navigation (AtoN) identification data on Message 21, as well as basic data and operating status.
  • Able to transmit meteorological and oceanographic data on Message 8.
  • Ideal for remote monitoring and control of beacons, providing alarms and status on Message 6.
  • Two versions are available:
    • MTU AIS-C1: Type 1, transmitter only.
    • MTU AIS-C3: Type 3, transmitter-receiver.

Universal AIS Transponder
  • Designed to be connected to any beacon of the market with a serial port and NMEA 0183 protocol available.
  • Broadcasting of aids-to-navigation (AtoN) identification data on Message 21, as well as basic data and operating status.
  • Able to transmit meteorological and oceanographic data on Message 8.
  • Ideal for remote monitoring and control of beacons, providing alarms and status on Message 6.
  • Two versions are available:
    • MTU AIS-1: Type 1, transmitter only.
    • MTU AIS-3: Type 3, transmitter-receiver.
  • Position alarm generator by chain breaking (only buoys).

MTA

AIS Transponder Unit

MAK

AIS Solar Kit
  • MAK is a solar kit that houses an AIS AtoN device and its own solar power supply.
  • This device provides automatic information on the GPS position of the marine aid to navigation (AtoN).
  • Ready to install in any navaids station.
  • Ideal for those places without power system available where an AIS is required.

AIS Lantern monitoring module
  • These circuits can be integrated with our self-powered lanterns.
  • Minimum energy consumption.
  • Broadcasting of aids-to-navigation (AtoN) identification data on Message 21, as well as basic data and operating status.
  • Ideal for remote monitoring and control of MSM lanterns, providing alarms and status on Message 6.
  • Two versions are available:
    • MFAIS-1: Type 1, transmitter only.
    • MFAIS-3: Type 3, transmitter-receiver.
  • Remote Monitoring Centre Software via AIS available.
